Ronald McDonald House topping-out ceremony in Vienna
Rhomberg puts up core and shell in just 175 working days
The new Ronald McDonald Haus in Vienna, for which Rhomberg Bau has been awarded the contract, is built close to the St. Anna children´s hospital in Vienna´s 9th district.
The house will in future be a home from home for families, whose seriously ill children are being treated in the St. Anna or the AKH children´s hospital opposite.
Kick-off for the start of construction of the “Ronald McDonald Haus” was the start of February of this year. In the meantime, the shell and roof structure has been completed after just 175 working days. 17 apartments with an average size of approx. 35 m² inclusive of relevant side rooms are being developed over 5 floors.
Guests at the traditional topping-out ceremony on the 28th of September 2017 included representatives from the client Ronald McDonald children´s aid, Sonja Klima and Robert Schedl as well as architect DI Albert Wimmer and different tradesman.
